Competition Terms and Conditions

1. Any entry not complying with the terms and conditions set out below is invalid.

2. Promotion period: The Promotion commences 20/9/24 and closes at midnight 27/10/2024.

3. The promoter accepts no responsibility for any entry that is late, lost, stolen or damaged.

4. Prize winners will be notified via the email address supplied on the website application.

5. Prizes must be taken as offered and are not transferable or redeemable for cash. There are 3 prizes for the Top Dogs as chosen by voters. The overall winner will be chosen from the category winners and crowned Mission Bay’s Top Dog 2024.

The overall winner will receive a prize pack valued at over $500, that includes:

A DELUXE professional photoshoot with Dog & Co
A basket of treats from Tu Meke Friend
A $100 Mission Bay, The Promenade voucher

The 2 remaining category winners will receive a prize pack valued at over $300 that includes:

A JUST FOR PAWS professional photoshoot with Dog & Co
A basket of treats from Tu Meke Friend
A $50 Mission Bay, The Promenade voucher

PLUS all entrants go in the draw to win one of twenty $50 Mission Bay, The Promenade vouchers.

If a prize or element of a prize becomes unavailable for any reason beyond the Promoter’s reasonable control, then a comparable prize or prize element of equal or greater value will be awarded in lieu.

6. By accepting a prize, the winner agrees to participate in reasonable promotional and marketing activities, including a photo of the prize presentation if requested, and will provide the promoter with a high-resolution (minimum 2MB) jpg version of the winning image.

7. All entrants agree to receive future promotional material from the promoter and sponsors.

8. Personal information is collected and stored by the promoter and may be used by the promoter for further direct marketing initiatives. Please contact the promoter if you wish to change or correct any personal information.

9. Copyright: You must own all legal rights to submitted photos. All submitted images subsequently become the property of Mission Bay, The Promenade.

10. There is a limit of 1 entry per day, per person during the promotional period. Each dog can only be entered once in the competition.

11. A winners will be announced within 2 weeks of the closing date and be announced via a Facebook and Instagram post.

12. To enter, entrants must, during the Promotion Period:

a. Follow Mission Bay, The Promenade’s official Instagram account (@missionbayprom) or Facebook account (@missionbay).
b. Upload required information and photograph of their dog and their information via the official Mission Bay, The Promenade website and entry form.
c. Images of dogs will be required to have been taken in Mission Bay, Auckland, New Zealand to be accepted as entries.
d. When an eligible entrant completes a valid entry within the Promotion Period, the entrant will automatically receive one entry into the Promotion.

13. Voting: During the promotional period, the public will be allowed to vote for their favourite dog in the promotion. Voters can vote for as many dogs as they like, but can only vote for each dog once.

14. Judging: The contest submissions will be judged based on the creativity, originality, public voting and in accordance with the contest theme. The promoter’s decision is final, and no correspondence will be entered into. The promoter is Urban Partners Limited in conjunction with Mission Bay, The Promenade.

15. The Promoter may communicate or advertise this competition through social media channels.

The competition, however, is in no way sponsored, endorsed, or administered by, or associated with, Facebook or Instagram. Entrants are providing their information to the Promoter and not to Facebook or Instagram. Each entrant completely releases Facebook or Instagram from any and all liability.

16. By entering this competition, the entrant agrees to be bound by these Terms and Conditions.
